About Us

Indelible IP is based in the beautiful county of Monmouthshire. Founded by Michelle Ward, a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney with over 20 years experience in the field of intellectual property, the firm provides bespoke friendly advice and consultancy services, specialising in the protection of brands and product and packaging designs for the UK, EU and wider global markets. As well as guiding businesses through the registration process, Indelible IP can advise on the related areas of copyright, unregistered design right and domain name disputes.

Michelle Ward’s original background is a scientific one, with a degree from The University of Sheffield in Plant Sciences. After graduating a twist of fate brought Michelle to the world of IP, and she developed a passion for the field of brand protection. Michelle started her IP career in Yorkshire working for a rapidly growing law firm that today is one of the largest in the world, before working for leading specialist IP firms, firstly in Yorkshire and then in Wales. Bringing together her experiences, and identifying a niche in the market, Michelle founded Indelible IP in 2016.

Michelle has developed an extensive business network in Wales and the surrounding regions. A regular at business events from Chepstow across to Swansea, and around the border counties of Monmouthshire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, Michelle also frequently presents on the topic of IP and in particular trade marks and brand protection.
